Entry-Level Project Manager / Estimator
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a rewarding career in the heavy civil construction industry.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management strongly preferred.
-Experience or internship in heavy highway construction is preferred but not required.
-Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to read construction plans and specifications is a plus.
-Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities:
-Assist with preparing project estimates and bid proposals.
-Support project managers with planning, scheduling, and project coordination.
-Review plans, specifications, and contract documents.
-Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
-Track project costs, quantities, and progress.

McElhenney Construction Company, LLC. is hiring a Senior Estimator / Project Manager.
- Background in Heavy Civil Construction

Responsibilities include:
- Review plans, specifications and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor quotations
- Prepare all bid proposals with estimating team
- Review and finalize estimates for management approval
- Construct project budgets after a proposal is awarded
- Work with customers to ensure contract documents are delivered and finalized
- Assist with Operations team to ensure subcontractors are approved and coordinated
- Assist with Operations team in procuring required materials
- Attending meetings, events, and business development opportunities on behalf of the organization
