The Gulf Companies Gulf Supply, PPE Rentals, Gulf Coast Training and Testing, and Drugnostics Biomedical provide product Gulf Supply Co. was started in 1994 by Melvin Hyer.

Gulf Supply Co., Inc is the largest supplier of safety and janitorial products in the area, selling in bulk and single items. He had previously owned Industrial Safety Products, which stood at the same Mobile, AL location (where Gulf Supply is still located) since 1976, but decided to start fresh with a completely family owned company. Since then, Gulf Supply has branched out to four separate companies and has recently opened a second location in Pascagoula, MS.

‼️SCAM ALERT ‼️

Please, be aware that an individual has called our company claiming that our Alabama Power bill is past due at a large amount.

They told us they can’t accept any form of payment besides a money pak card (purchased at a dollar general, kangaroo or cvs) and not to go to the Alabama Power offices.

They provide call back numbers that are 1-(888)600-9629 and (251) 888-5380 ext. 106 to make payment over the phone and the technician coming to turn our power off will be told to not come.

We have called Alabama Power and asked about our accounts and they are up to date!

Alabama Power confirmed that this is a scam!

We reported this to WKRG, FOX10 News and Mobile Police Department.
