We've been busy at our spaceship factory. We placed the left-hand boom of the next spaceship we're building for Virgin Galactic in a custom oven for final curing. The team will now bake it at high temperatures as we progress towards roll-out.

Take a look at the design for a Mach 3 high speed travel vehicle we’re developing for Virgin Galactic.

As part of this announcement, we signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Rolls-Royce to collaborate in designing and developing engine propulsion technology for high-speed commercial aircraft.

The basic parameters of the initial high speed vehicle design would include a targeted Mach 3 certified delta-wing aircraft with capacity for 9 to 19 people at an altitude above 60,000 feet.

With that in mind we’re very proud to hear of the great work one of our Directors, Santiago Barrerra and his wife, Catalina Campis, are doing to support their native home of Colombia by providing much-needed PPE for medical staff. Read this blog to see how they have reinvented their company to not only save but create jobs and protect vital medical workers at the same time. In partnership with company clothing manufacturers and other medical companies, they are in the process of manufacturing orders of masks—most recently one for 50 million face mask units.
