This is one of those “you have one shot to get this right” projects lol.
This hydraulic block is to a John Deere planter. Some of these machined fluid ways have a separation plug To divert fluid and separate different controls. One of the plugs that is about 2” inside the block failed and ripped out threads making it a scrap piece of aluminum at that point.
We had to measure and double measure everything to get the right plug,tap, and reamer to machine everything to exact dimensions. We had to make our own custom Allen head plug just to fit it. This block cost around $22,000 without labor or fittings so this was a significant savings for the customer to say the least.

Big shout out to Complete Parts and Repair for having absolutely everything on hand. Without them we would have had the right metric tap !!!! You guys are great !!! Thankful to have such an asset in our town!!

We have 6 to do. We weld the teeth on due to an issue with the retention pins coming loose. Common issue. So per customer request, we weld them.

We built a gate. Set post in concrete, set gate, and added a brace cord. Nothing special. We also had to take a tree out. It all worked out.
I’m not an arborist, never claimed to be. It would be kinda crazy to call some one for such a quick tree job so we tackled it ourselves. Super thick timber so it wouldn’t exactly fall over without getting caught upright.

This is definitely over kill for a chevy small block !!!! This customer knew exactly what he wanted, we just built it. This engine stand we built is for semi engine. Customer had the idea to mount an irrigation gear box to turn the motor to orient the motor for easy access.
This thing is heavy but should work great for rebuilding motors. Definitely a massive engine stand !!!!

We extend our gratitude to the Galesburg FFA Alumni and Supporters for inviting us to their Ag Day. We consistently anticipate participating in this event to support the next generation of young men and women involved in agriculture.
We discussed welding and other services we provide, including rope access welding, which entails suspended millwright and weld repair in inaccessible areas.
This requires accessing these areas using ropes. We also emphasized our commitment to safety when utilizing these tools. It's a valuable opportunity for the local agricultural community.

Had to go and take a weld test to re certify. These are what a cert test looks like. It shows the weld inspector you can set up a joint correctly, set your machine to the proper parameters, and execute proper technique while Welding. one weld test is a vertical up. The other weld test is overhead.
There is no ABCs or D’s. either you pass or you don’t. I’m going to celebrate by working this weekend 😂🤘🏻

When we are in a pinch and have to move something stubborn, we definitely have the tools to do it…. We have a full set of tnt hydraulics just for rainy days. We use them way more than I would have anticipated. This ram alone will extend to 50” making it light work for lifting and bending things that won’t move.
As for pushing force it will lift 51,000lbs. Usually our average rams have 6”-10” of lift range. This definitely makes it nice for big lifts in the field on soft ground.
