Steve Ruhnke Construction is currently hiring an experienced **Heavy Equipment Operator** to join our growing team. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in their work, value safety, and want steady year-round employment with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:

* Operate excavators, loaders, dozers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
* Perform grading, excavation, site preparation, and utility work
* Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
* Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule
* Follow all company safety procedures and job site regulations

Qualifications:

* Previous heavy equipment operating experience required
* Ability to work in outdoor conditions year-round
* Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
* Valid driver’s license required
* CDL preferred but not required
