Civiltec is proud to have recently supplied construction management services for the Zone 3 Booster Station Upgrade & Plateau Forebay Transmission project with the City of La Verne.

The project included a new Zone 3 Booster Station, replacement and rehabilitation of transmission pipeline, and upgraded controls and monitoring systems. Together, these improvements enhance pumping reliability, operational flexibility, and long-term system resiliency.

Led by Shem Hawes, PE, from Civiltec’s Fullerton office, our team provided construction management and field coordination throughout the project to help bring these important infrastructure improvements to completion.

Following devastating wildfires, Civiltec worked alongside the Coconino County Flood Control District and an incredible team of partners to deliver critical flood mitigation improvements designed to protect Northern Arizona communities for generations to come. The program included improvements across nine watersheds, from watershed restoration and channel stabilization to major storm drain and flood conveyance infrastructure.

We’re honored to have played a role in this collaborative effort and proud to see the team’s work recognized by APWA Arizona.

We're honored to announce that the Schultz/Pipeline Post-Wildfire Flood Mitigation System has received the 2026 APWA Project of the Year Award in the Disaster or Emergency Construction Repair category.

Following the devastating Tunnel and Pipeline Fires, this project brought together an incredible team to rapidly design and construct flood mitigation infrastructure that now helps protect more than 1,500 homes from post-wildfire flooding across nine watersheds. From innovative engineering solutions to close collaboration with residents and agencies, this project demonstrates what's possible when communities come together to solve urgent challenges.

Congratulations to Coconino County Flood Control District, Tiffany Construction, and every member of the project team. We are honored to have played a role in delivering infrastructure that will protect this community for generations.
