We are a rapidly expanding, 100% Green Energy Supply Company based in Rockland County, NY that sells clean and green gas and electricity to residential and commercial clients across the country. Due to our expansion, we are looking for a full-time rockstar to work as a Customer Service Specialist in our world-class Customer Service (CSR) department.
Attitude is key for us and we’re therefore looking for someone that is upbeat, intuitive, smart, quick-on-their (proverbial) feet and someone who is ready to grow as we grow. Our current stellar CSR staff is dually equipped with the phone demeanor to provide an outstanding customer experience for our clients as well as the sales savviness to showcase our service’s value to the public. Our work environment is fun, educational, exciting and motivating. Also, our kitchen/cafeteria is usually stocked with the sort of goodies you’d never have at home!
Our Customer Service Specialists deliver excellent customer experiences, provide product/service information and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face. Customer service is provided through the answering of phones – we do get a lot of calls - and email. Our goal is to provide one-call service which means that customers are happy after speaking to us only once.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform fantastically as part of a team as well as on your own. You’re in a group environment with team goals but each customer interaction is a solo endeavor: you and the customer.
We’re growing quickly which means we get lots of phone calls. Calls entail providing customer service while documenting notes in our system, setting up follow-up and otherwise. You need to be able to multi-task
Attitude is key. The demeanor and voice of an upbeat Customer Specialist permeates through the phone and does wonders to the customer on the end. Moods are infectious. Positivity, positivity, positivity!
Interactions mostly take place on the phone so you need to be very comfortable, clear and pleasant on the phone. We also interact using email and live-chat. Familiarity with computers – including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel – is essential.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of customer service experience and the winning attitude of someone who wants to grow in a growing company.
JOB EXPERIENCE
At least one full year of customer service experience and special consideration will be provided to those who have done customer service on the phones.
