We’re proud to announce that Boardwell Mechanical Services has officially been acquired by Hurst Mechanical! 🤝

This marks an exciting new chapter for our team, our customers, and our mission. Hurst Mechanical shares our values and vision, and together, we’re looking forward to even greater opportunities, expanded services, and continued commitment to our commercial and industrial customers.

Hurst Mechanical is a commercial, Industrial HVAC and mechanical contractor based in Grand Rapids, Mi with offices in North Muskegon, Kalamazoo, and Traverse City, Servicing West Michigan since 1979.

To our loyal customers and supporters: thank you for being part of our journey so far. This next step wouldn’t be possible without you. We are very proud of the relationships and community support we have been able to provide for the past 10 years.

Residential customers: We have partnered with Westshore Mechanical to provide the continued quality you have been accustomed too. Our friends at Westshore Mechanical, also a Trane residential dealer will be able to provide you with trained technicians and quality installations, assist you with any Trane warranty claims on equipment installed by Boardwell.

Meet Board Member Doug Boardwell, president of Boardwell Mechanical Services Inc. Doug has been serving on our Board since 2020.

Hear from Doug about our community and working for an organization in the White Lake Area: “Being involved in the White Lake Area community has brought me great satisfaction. From the small-town charm, beautiful natural resources, educational and professional opportunities, it is the perfect place for my wife and I to raise our young children. I am a proud business owner and Montague native, who plans to be an active member in our community for many years to come.”

Our Leads Networking Group had the opportunity to check out the new exhibit at the Arts Council of White Lake - Nuveen Center, “Through Our Lens: Hands”. This is a traveling exhibit from the Muskegon Museum of Art and will be at the ACWL now through October 28. It’s a unique exhibit that captures powerful stories of people throughout Muskegon County, including seven from the White Lake Area. This is definitely something you don’t want to miss.

Shout out to this young man!

Whitehall District Schools Senior Trenton TenBrock helped us over his summer break. We were fortunate to meet Trent through his building trades instructor at Whitehall High School last spring. He eagerly jumped at the opportunity to work in the trades over the summer.

As Trent's summer reaches an end, we wish him the best of luck closing out his high school career. The entire BMS team couldn't be more proud of his daily effort, commitment, and work ethic. Keep an eye out for #24 on the Whitehall Varsity Football team, as they look to have another successful season. If anything, those lining up across from him should feel the added strength from dismantling and carrying 1000's lbs of boiler out of mechanical rooms this summer.. Good luck, and thank you Trent!
