We at Keil Design and Construction wanted to take the opportunity to share a recently completed ADU project that has won a prestigious NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) award for a residential detached structure. This historic colonial style home on Melrose Place started with an unrestored carriage house and now has a brand-new kitchen, living room, bathroom, loft area and two full bedrooms with a spacious two car garage below.

We've just turned over the keys to this central-Montclair basement sanctuary, featuring a brick accent wall, laminate wood-look flooring and custom translucent sliding utility doors, which we transformed from a typical basement storage room, which was draped with with pipes, ducts, and wires. We think it will be well used.
