This project included a custom circular paver patio with a built-in fire pit, a curved seating wall, natural stone steps and landscape lighting. We also incorporated large natural boulders, fresh mulch, planting beds, and a dedicated playground area to bring the entire backyard together.

This project started with one major constraint: the property sits on a hill.

That meant significant excavation and grading to create usable elevations and make the different areas work together. Now, the first patio and its wall are in place, and the circular patio has taken shape in pavers.

The next phases will add another layer to the project: a seating wall with backrest around the circular patio, a fire pit, planting beds, more than 40 landscape lights throughout the outdoor living space, and a playground area built by our team.

The finished features will get most of the attention.

What looks straightforward when it’s finished takes a lot of work before the final pieces ever go in.
