HELP WANTED: Welder/Fabricator
Join our dynamic team at Mackey Construction, a leader in the water stewardship field. We specialize in design, fabrication, and installation of spill-ways, head-gates, checks, Parshall flumes, inlet and outlet water control structures, culverts, water measurement structures and more.
* Full-time or Part-time
Location:
Monte Vista, CO
Salary: Depends on experience
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints to comprehend work specifications
• Perform welding and fabrication duties using various tools and equipment
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the fabrication process
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Prep and apply coal tar epoxy
• Proficiently operate trucks with trailers and forklifts
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator (3+ years of experience preferred) in a similar role
• Proficient in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding
• Ability to operate fabrication machinery and tools effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Welding certification (optional but preferred)
