There’s no better way to head into the weekend than hearing from a happy client. We are excited to welcome Luis Vega to the Bakker Construction team as a Carpenter! Luis grew up in Soledad and brings a calm, respectful, and friendly personality to our team, along with a strong work ethic inspired by the people who matter most to him.

Family is at the center of Luis’s life, and he shares that his son is his greatest motivation at work. He also greatly admires his dad because of the strong work ethic he demonstrated throughout his life—an example Luis now carries into his own work and family. One of Luis’s favorite parts of being a carpenter is seeing the final result of a project and, most importantly, seeing the smile on a client’s face when the work is complete.

When he’s not working, Luis loves spending time with his family and playing or watching soccer. In fact, at 10 years old, his dream was to become a professional soccer player! These days, Sunday mornings often find him at his Sunday League soccer game, and he follows several favorite teams, including Club León, LAFC, and the Dallas Cowboys. When it’s time to get away, Luis enjoys camping and spending time outdoors.

With his family-first mindset, strong work ethic, and appreciation for making clients happy, Luis is a wonderful addition to our team. Welcome to Bakker Construction, Luis!
