On August 11th, Wieland Chase and United Steel Workers Local 7248 hosted it's annual Retiree Reunion at JJ Winns. All of the nearly 50 attendees were able to enjoy food, a slideshow with new and old pictures, and, most importantly, with fellowship with other retirees and current Chase employees. Thank you to all who attended!

A few weeks ago, members of the Wieland Chase and Wieland Techni-Cast sales teams visited Wieland Concast's Wakeman, Ohio facility to learn about their wide range of horizontal continuous cast copper based alloys. This collaborative effort between all three locations will enable each sales team to provide additional solutions to better service their respective customer bases.

Earlier this week, Wieland Chase presented Special Olympics of Williams County with a donation from the 2nd Annual Brass Cup Golf Outing. Along with employee and vendor donations, Wieland Chase matched 100% of all money raised. In total, more than $7,400 was donated. Over the past two years, the golf outing has raised more than $11,000 for local charities. Thank you to all who participated to make this event a success!

The final Thursday in July is National Intern Day. As our 2026 internship program nears its conclusion, each of our five interns took some time to reflect on what they have learned at Wieland Chase. We would like to thank each of our interns for all of their hard work this summer and wish them the best of luck in the future.

On Friday, Williams County Economic Development Corporation - WEDCO hosted its inaugural golf outing at Suburban Golf Club. Wieland Chase's team of Nelson Turner, Mike Tisovic, Jake Wells, and Kole Peterson, shot -14 under par and placed first out of 26 teams.

A huge thanks to WEDCO for putting on a great event and for all that they do to help Williams County businesses.

On July 11th, more than 70 Wieland Chase employees, family members, and vendors participated in the 2nd Annual Brass Cup golf tournament, with all proceeds going to Special Olympics of Williams County. Teams were able to participate in a variety of contests and win prizes that included Chase swag and donated items.

The Special Olympic Athletes in attendance also had an opportunity to make a 30+ foot for each of the 15 teams who participated, sinking one and scoring that team a 1 on hole 13.
