Seal Solar reduced solar panel breakage by over 95%.

How? They stopped sending full pallets to job sites and started pre-kitting jobs with PVpallet.

As Mark Hodnett put it:
“Once we started using PVpallet’s solar panel pallets, breakage dropped almost instantly. They paid for themselves after just a couple of jobs.”

The future is bright for the solar industry 💡

Last week, Solar Energy Industries Association hosted its first-ever Sustainability Conference, bringing together leaders across the solar value chain to focus on one thing: building a cleaner, more circular industry.

From recycling and material traceability to reusable packaging and smarter logistics, the conversations showed how collaboration can turn sustainability goals into real progress.

PVpallet CEO Philip Alex Schwarz Schwarz joined Stephen Burns (Decom Solar) and Emily Sharp (Total Quality Logistics) to explore how better packaging and transportation practices can reduce waste and improve efficiency.

We’re grateful to be part of this essential conversation—and proud to help push the industry toward a truly circular economy through smarter, reusable packaging solutions.

A huge thank you to SEIA for launching such a meaningful forum for sustainability. It’s clear this is just the beginning.

Logistics decisions can make or break solar project efficiency and even determine how much waste ends up in a landfill.

Next week, Philip Schwarz, CEO of PVpallet, will speak alongside industry experts at the SEIA Sustainability Conference in Savannah, GA.

From transportation optimization to reducing panel breakage and improving decommissioning, this session will explore how logistics (including packaging) can reduce waste and boost efficiency at every stage of the solar lifecycle.

Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 2:30 – 3:00 PM
Speakers: Emily Sharp (Total Quality Logistics), Stephen Burns (Decom Solar), and Philip Schwarz (PVpallet)

Why do we do what we do?

Because clean energy deserves clean supply chains.

Right now, U.S. solar projects are losing $1.5B every year to single-use packaging, breakage, and waste. That’s money, time, and materials the industry can’t afford to keep throwing away.

Reusable packaging isn’t just greener. It’s smarter. It protects modules, cuts costs, and streamlines installs.

We unpack it all in our latest blog:

Discover how the solar industry is wasting over $1.5 billion each year on single-use packaging—and how switching to reusable pallets and containers can drive efficiency, safety, and cost savings.

We’re proud to share that PVpallet is a 2025 list winner of the Pepperdine Most Fundable Companies Program.

Out of thousands of companies across the country, fewer than 1% made this year’s list. To be counted among them is both humbling and an incredible honor.

Being part of the Most Fundable Companies competition was both encouraging and challenging. The insights provided by the judges along the way were invaluable. It’s a truly unique program that shines a spotlight on innovation while also equipping startups to grow stronger.

We’re thankful for our team, partners, and customers who continue to believe in our mission to reinvent packaging and build smarter, more sustainable supply chains. And a special thank you to Pepperdine for not only hosting an inspiring showcase at their beautiful Malibu campus, but for creating a program that makes such a meaningful impact on early-stage companies.

It was truly a privilege to celebrate alongside so many other amazing companies.

Reflecting on … what a week!

Having nearly 40,000 solar professionals in one place was a powerful reminder of the resilience of this industry and its people. Together, we’ll get through today’s policy shifts stronger than ever. 💪

At its heart, RE+ is about building our solar community. It’s about reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, and sharing ideas that move our industry forward. For us, that meant highlighting how reusable solutions cut costs while supporting sustainability goals.

Here’s to building a stronger, more sustainable solar supply chain!
