Important Notice:
March, 16, 2020
Dear Community, Customers, Friends, and Neighbors,
With the current situation, it’s important to know Maus and Son, Inc. is here, and will be here, to service your residential plumbing, heating, and fuel delivery needs. In these unparalleled times, we’re adjusting our service routine daily; however, we are continuing to offer all the services you’re accustomed to. We’re all trying to make sense of the current situation and with many unknowns ahead, you can rest assured we’ll do every thing in our power to maintain our operations at full capacity. Service requests should be directed to our regular phone number, 860.873.8454.
Some changes we’re making based on the warnings from CDC and other reputable sources include Social Distancing where applicable for our in-home based services.
Homeowners:
Please give our fuel drivers ample space when making a delivery and allow us to leave your delivery ticket where we might normally do so if you weren’t home.
Please let service technicians into home and greet without contact, including handshakes, fist or elbow bumps.
Please schedule service calls with Social Distancing in mind, which includes cellar access availability and direct route to service area.
Payments: Please mail or call in your payment during normal business hours. If necessary, you can schedule a time to drop your payment off in the office.
What We’re Doing:
Limiting office visits from customers, unless scheduled via phone.
Encouraging employees to practice Social Distancing at home, in public, and at work
Implementing policies for delivery drivers and service personnel to wear gloves from entry to exit of your residence.
Requiring any sick, or potentially contagious staff stay away for a minimum of 14 days.
We’ll continue to do our part in keeping home systems fully operational for our community. If you have any concerns about payments due, availability for service, or anything at all, please do not hesitate to call our office. Thank you for understanding and working together to navigate the current situation.
Sincerely,
Michael Maus
