Want to stop and give a HUGE THANK YOU to Alexander Barry for pushing through some long hard days in these beautiful mountains! Today has been a challenge to say the least! He is a warrior and is sticking with it until the job is done. He is pulling into Chimney Rock now at 9pm dropping the last tank of the day. He started at 8 this morning and won’t be home until well after midnight. From rigging tanks onto our trailer, to fighting dead end roads and having to get pulled out of a mud hole up in Green Mountain today. He has been all over and isn’t giving up! Thank you bro! 👊

Thank you Senator Senator Thom Tillis for advocating for WNC families!

The crisis in WNC is urgent. With temperatures dropping, families are at risk. Senator Ted Budd and I demand FEMA act now to remove regulatory barriers and deploy housing resources, including trailers and manufactured homes, to support those affected by Helene.

HUGE shoutout to Jody Childers and Juan Pina for keeping Avery County Fire Stations stocked with Kerosene and Home Heating Oil before the snow rolls in. Long days, cold hands, warm hearts. Not one complaint! So proud to work with such a great group of guys!

As winter quickly approaches and temperatures drop, thousands of people in two counties are without heat after Helene wiped out gas stations.

Western Carolina Emergency Network is doing their part to spread the word! They are in the worst hit areas today with news reporters. We cannot stress enough the need for home heating fuels with temperatures dropping and folks that cannot afford to heat their homes.

Rhonda Jean Kowald and a band of volunteers have been rapidly supplying heating fuel to hard-hit counties in North Carolina, but supplies might be running out.
