We have an incredible group of Parcours Ambassadors this year, from a range of disciplines and levels of performance. We all love celebrating the successes, the achievements, the wins. But sport isn’t all sunshine and roses. It’s a rollercoaster of highs and lows.

is an “Advanced Critical Care Practitioner” on the intensive care unit working 13 hour shifts, day and night. She’s also been apply for a PhD, along side training and racing on the National Road Racing Series, the highest level of racing on the domestic UK calendar. We think Anna is incredible, managing all she does, and even more so as she took the time to talk about times when it doesn’t go to plan and doesn’t work out, and the lessons learnt!

We took five of the fastest race tyres on the market back to the wind tunnel. On the same wheel, measured across a full yaw sweep and weighted for real-world conditions.

A few things stood out in the result. The aero-optimised tyres start to separate from the competition above 10 degrees of yaw. Rolling resistance still matters, but so does handling stability, and the fastest tyre in pure aero terms isn’t the one we’d recommend in most conditions.
