Friendly reminder for our customers in the LKN and surrounding areas. Once the outside air temperature gets above 93 degrees, which is the design temperature for A/C systems in our area, your A/C will struggle to cool your house. Insulation, airflow and cleanliness all affect the operation as well. If your house keeps 74-76 degrees the unit is doing all it can, don't panic. Last week Steve, our service manager of 9 years, past away while on vacation. He was a great friend and a was a large part of Putnam Mechanical's success. He will be missed by all of us at Putnam Mechanical. Please keep his family in your prayers.
