A tank replacement should account for the next service visit, too.

For this Iredell County replacement, our crew installed a new septic tank with access risers extending to the surface.

Those risers give future pumping and servicing a reachable access point without digging down to uncover buried tank lids.

During backfilling, we used the TrueComp 64 from Precision Enterprises USA to compact around the tank. A shout-out to Precision Enterprises USA for the tool that supported this part of our work.

We then graded the disturbed area for a clean finish, leaving the access covers visible at the surface.

The tank is underground. The details that support future maintenance still matter.

Installation is only part of the job. The system needs to perform.

As part of this septic system replacement in Mooresville, our crew installed a new pump and control components and reconnected the system to the existing pressure distribution field.

This video shows the new pump running during our function testing before we completed our work.

After the installation and connections were complete, we tested the system, checked for leaks, and verified proper operation. That final testing is an important part of making sure the components we install are functioning as intended.

A tank replacement is only part of the job on a pressure-dosed septic system.

This Mooresville project included a new pump tank, pump, control panel, associated components, and reconnection of the force main serving the existing pressure distribution system.

Once the new components were installed and connected, our crew performed a function test, checked for leaks, and verified proper operation before completing our work.

Two failed tanks. Two new 1,500-gallon replacements.

We recently partnered with on this septic system repair in Mooresville, NC.

The project required replacing both the existing 1,500-gallon septic tank and 1,500-gallon pump tank while reconnecting the new equipment to the existing pressure distribution system.

Atlas handled the septic service side of the project while our Precision Excavation crew handled the excavation and installation work, including abandoning the failed tanks, setting the two new tanks, and completing the necessary plumbing and system connections.

Limited site access and existing infrastructure made this a challenging replacement, but good coordination between crews helped keep the project moving.

Start with the template.

Before cutting the manifold box, use the ACCUMOUNT Alignment Template to establish the location of the manifold barrel and brace system.

Position the template on the box and mark the required locations for your configuration. This provides a repeatable reference for the openings that will be made in the next stage of installation.

It's a simple first step, but it represents what ACCUMOUNT is designed around: taking the guesswork out of manifold construction.

By combining an installer-focused layout system with CNC-machined braces and pre-drilled, pre-tapped manifold barrels, ACCUMOUNT moves much of the precision work out of the field and into a controlled manufacturing process.

A septic repair is also an opportunity to look at the rest of the system.

While completing this recent septic line repair, our crew also accessed the existing tank and cleaned the outlet filter.

The outlet filter is a serviceable part of the septic system designed to help prevent solids from moving out of the tank. Like other components of a septic system, it needs periodic maintenance.

After our work was completed, came out to pump the existing tank. We appreciate working alongside dependable septic service companies when a project calls for it.

When a septic line backs up, finding the cause comes first.

This repair started with a blockage in the line carrying wastewater from the home to the septic tank.

Once we excavated the problem area, we found a broken section of pipe near the patio. The damaged pipe had allowed red clay and debris into the line, creating a significant blockage.

Our crew removed the damaged section and repaired the piping leading into the existing septic tank.

Septic problems aren’t always caused by the tank or drain field. Sometimes getting the system working properly starts with identifying and correcting a problem in the piping.
