Elastizell Systems Inc. is a locally-owned, family-operated company that specializes in lightweight cellular concrete applications. Based in southwest Ohio, Elastizell is sought after for providing unmatched expertise in geotechnical applications, including engineered fill, annular and pipeline grouting, lightweight insulating roof decks, landscape and plaza fills.
We are in need of a Mechanic to join our team. The Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment, and would also operate a mobile concrete batch plant on jobsites. We will provide on-the-job training for candidates that do not have experience operating a concrete batch plant.

The basic responsibilities of the Mechanic / Concrete Batch Plant Operator includes, but not limited to the following:
- Operate (including mixing and blending of materials) the mobile plant in a safe and conscientious manner on job sites
- Keep the plant and equipment clean and in good operating condition
Inspect, fabricate, rebuild, maintain, diagnosing and repair various types of maintenance on plant
- Conduct routine maintenance work on plant and equipment (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming for equipment functionality, reliability and longevity
- Conduct repairs, troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts, including thinking out of the box for hard to find parts
- Keep logs on work and issues
Qualified Mechanic Candidates Must Have the Below:
- Proven experience as mechanic with both gasoline or diesel engines
- Experience in the operations (including mixing and blending of materials) and maintenance of concrete pumps/plants is a plus.
- Must have a clean driving record, a valid CDL A without restrictions is a plus
- Knowledge of tools, equipment and hydraulic and electric systems
- Knowledge of the design, adjustment and maintenance of diesel motors and the common types of construction equipment
- Ability to analyze and repair mechanical failures
- Ability to understand and carry out general instructions relating to construction and maintenance operations
- Ability to troubleshoot, as well as understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
- Must be able to lift 75 - 90lb, and ability to climb up and down plant, stooping and kneeling.
