World Championships in NHRA, World of Outlaws and Australian Pro Stock. During the inception of Pro Stock Truck the late Larry Kopp used Slawko heads on his Bill “Grumpy” Jenkins engines to win the inaugural championship. During the final three years of the classes existence, Bob Panella used Slawko heads to win three consecutive championships in a row, leaving Slawko heads on top from the class’s inception to its demise. Two-time World of Outlaws champion Jason Meyers used Slawko ported heads for both of his championships. In Australia, Slawko heads have dominated the 400ci small block Pro Stock class for the last 15 years producing championships for Peter Ridgeway, Dave Rogan, Jon Andriopoulos, Lee Bektash and Nino Cavallo as well as having the first naturally aspirated small block door car to run 6 seconds in the ¼ mile and eclipse the 200mph barrier. Slawko heads have also had tremendous success in NHRA Competition Eliminator as well, producing numerous national record holders, #1 qualifier’s, and wins, including the Championships of Mike Saye (2002), Frank Aragona Jr. (2007), Dan Fletcher (2008), Al Ackerman (2010) and 2016 World Champion Doug Doll Jr. With credentials like these, there is no question why engine builders such as Bill Jenkins, Bob Book, Bob Panella, Black Arrow, Charlie Garrett and Bob Kaiser; all of whom are either former world champions or have produced them, use Slawko heads to win races.
