Day 1 of working on this multi-family property:

This 8,000 sq ft multi-family property had old plank-style roof decking that no longer met building codes or Tamko manufacturer specifications. Large gaps between the boards meant nails could slip through, compromising the integrity of the roofing system and voiding warranty coverage.

To ensure proper installation and secure full warranty protection, our crew is resheathing the entire roof deck with new OSB plywood. This provides a smooth, solid, and nailable surface before we dry it in and install the new roof system. 🔨🏠

What we did:
* Inspected 8,000 sq ft multi-family roof decking
* Identified out-of-code and non-compliant plank decking
* Resheathed the entire roof with new OSB plywood for code compliance and warranty protection
* Prepared a solid, nailable surface for Tamko shingle installation

A tree came down on Frank’s house in Cheat Lake. He’d been planning a third story addition for a while, so instead of just fixing the damage, he decided it was time to go ahead with it.

We tore off the second story and built a full third story addition from the ground up. Now there’s plenty of room for the grandkids, and it’s a house that can stay in the family for a long time.
