Community Foundation of Morgan County Thrive Grant Progress

Phase 1 Construction has begun at the Morgantown Town Park on Grant Street!

The project was awarded to Lucas Earthworks.

The walking path will be approximately 1,625 feet, (⅓ of a mile) and will give the community a place to walk, jog and exercise. It is the hope of the park board that the walking path will provide a safe and convenient area for people of all ages to enjoy physical activity and fresh air. The walking path will connect to many of the growing amenities within the park and will serve as a universal accessibility area for the public.

We are very grateful for the Community Foundation of Morgan County and its generous donors, as well as others that have contributed to make this project a success for our community and surrounding areas.

Today we started a small clearing job in Foxcliff for a new home!

We finished a 3 bedroom elevated presby septic system last week and a parking lot addition. The guys did a great job!
