Waveguide assembly supplier Litton Airtron , Morris Plains, NJ, has received the Navy’s prestigious AEGIS Excellence Award for its work on the AEGIS weapon system program. Airtron, which is the first supplier to receive this award five times, was nominated by Lockheed Martin . AEGIS is a radar and missile defense system that provides US Navy warships with state-of-the-art defense capabilities in a variety of theaters.
