Creativity meets manufacturing. We were proud to partner with the Vermont Studio Center through the MSI Art and Industry Fellowship program, supporting artists whose work intersects with industrial technology and manufacturing.

As part of the fellowship, artist Kristin McWharter joined us in our facility and utilized our waterjet table, 3D printer, sandblaster, and other tools and materials to bring her artwork to life.

It’s exciting to see advanced manufacturing equipment used in creative and unexpected ways, and to support the intersection of art, innovation, and industry.

🦷 Jet Dental - Mobile is back at MSI — and this time for TWO days! ✨

After a great response from our team during their last visit, we brought Jet Dental back to our facility for an expanded two-day on-site dental clinic.

Employees have the opportunity to receive cleanings, exams, and preventative dental care right here at work — making it easier and more convenient to prioritize their health without taking extra time out of their day.

Reclaimed material. Precision fabrication. Real impact.

We used our 5-axis CNC waterjet (OMAX 60120) to create molds for Formation BX and Precious Plastic NYC (PPNYC) helping turn recycled LDPE into durable, flexible hangers with 360° rotating metal hooks.

Their process transforms reclaimed LDPE #4—primarily sourced from plastic pallet wrap—by densifying, adding color, and incorporating UV stabilizers before injection molding. The metal hook is overmolded during the process, allowing for full rotation without loosening or failure.
