With their existing home limited in entertaining space and functionality, our clients envisioned a spacious new kitchen and addition designed for hosting and giving their family and friends a place to connect.

The 287 sq. ft. addition unified the kitchen, dining, and living areas, with natural wood tones, custom benches, and an Oonjal swing sourced from India as the centerpiece.

Our clients lived in the home during construction, so thorough dust containment and site protection was a high priority. Large plywood walls, scaffolding, and plastic zip walls were utilized during construction to separate the work areas from the rest of the home. We also took care to ensure their two beloved cats were kept inside the home and out of harms way.

Another interesting design challenge was matching the tongue-and-groove maple flooring in the new addition to the original flooring in the existing 1997 home. We were able to source maple with a nearly identical grain and color, and once everything was refinished, the transition looked seamless—like the entire floor had been installed at the same time.

Our clients were thrilled with their home’s transformation, and threw us a dinner party to celebrate after closing out construction. We were really pleased with how this project turned out and hope it serves our clients well for many years to come.

This Pullman remodel transformed a dated 1990s interior into a sleek, contemporary space while preserving the home’s original layout.

Updates included new oak-and-metal stair railings, LVP flooring, new windows, and a fully reframed fireplace with a custom mantel. Rounded drywall corners were replaced with crisp square edges, and a cohesive palette of browns and greys tied the design together.

Our clients love the new space and their remodeling experience: “Ealy Construction did a great job remodeling our main level! They were easy to work with and efficient. I loved how well they communicated throughout the whole process.”

"When any problem arose, (we only had issues with the pre-existing structure) they were quick to resolve them and stuck to their pricing model as the committed to (Thanks Mark!).

"We contacted Ealy Construction for a significant remodel of our home, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

The project involved converting a large room into two, adding a 20 ft tall floor to ceiling fireplace, refreshing some exterior doors, and updating a staircase. Ealy Construction, led by Project Lead Mark Tolman, Project Manager Scott Humphreys, and Designer Teresa McCunn, exceeded our expectations in every aspect.

The design and planning stage, spearheaded by Teresa and Scott, set a strong foundation for the project. Teresa's talent for creating cohesive and appealing designs within the context of our existing home architecture was fully leveraged, and greatly appreciated. The floor-to-ceiling linear gas fireplace she designed was gorgeous.

Additionally, the remodeled staircase, despite initial hesitations about the dramatic color and style changes, turned out to be a stunning focal point that consistently draws compliments from everyone who enters our home."
