I am discontinuing the distribution of Steinbach Wolle's yarns. My booth at TNNA will be small but crammed with lots of Steinbach's yarns for cash & carry. If you have been unaware of their yarns all these years, please let me introduce you. The majority of their yarns are blends -- either heavy on wool or heavy on acrylic, or about 50/50. In addition, a lot of very, very nice 100% cottons -- sport weight and crochet cottons. There's also some 100% wool (fabulous for felting) and 100% acrylic which hardly anyone can identify as that as it's so nice. The quality is very good, especially considering the fiber content of some of them. The price point has always been good, and now that I am drastically reducing prices, it's even better! Come by Booth 427 and check it out -- will bring in new yarns every day to restock! Plus of course, I'll have samples of our Ogier Yarns hand-paints, our buttons, and the original and still best Nifty Swift on hand.

Here are some photos from H+H -- it was breathtaking on one hand and humorous on the other!

Back from the trade show in Koeln, Germany. It was fabulous, and very inspiring! I'll post some photos next.

Oi!! Our website got knocked out of order several days ago. I only found out because one of the sales reps sent out an e-mail to her customers telling them that (a) she had quit representing me, and (b) I had taken my website down. Yikes! Took 2 days and what seemed like hours on hold, but it's all fixed now. Whew!

Getting ready to head to the Big Apple for Maker Faire! First, a few days of recreation in Manhattan (museums! art! food!) then moving over to Queens for the big event. I still need cross-stitch and needlepoint teachers and also have an open slot for a wristband monitor (a non-teaching position). Free admission to Maker Faire for volunteering to teach or monitor wristbands at The NeedleArts Zone!

Since changing our logo several months ago, we've tried to get it changed on everything. After a couple of weeks of photographing new designs and replacement garments for older designs (new yarn in an existing pattern), I decided it was time for an update to the pattern cover page design. Please tell me which version you prefer.

I'm getting really excited about the new yarns and buttons I found in Germany last month. I'll post some photos as soon as I can!
