We’re proud to share that SICK Phase II has been named one of Finance & Commerce’s Top Projects of 2025!

Delivered in partnership with Ancoats and Clow Berg, our team engineered, fabricated and installed high-performance glazing systems, including the curtain wall systems, more than 300 punch windows with custom exterior fins, pre-glazed window units and a fully glazed, bird-safe skybridge connecting the new facility to the existing building.

Abbott Northwestern is nearly complete, and we're excited to see this remarkable project nearing the finish line ahead of its opening this August.

Empirehouse is proud to have provided the prefabrication and installation of the project's architectural glass and metal window systems, helping bring a striking and highly detailed building envelope to life. Our work included the installation of more than 1,700 preglazed panels, many standing 16 to 24 feet tall and weighing up to 1,500 pounds.

Beyond the scale of the installation, the project required careful planning, coordination, and innovative installation methods to support an accelerated construction schedule within an active healthcare campus. We're grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a facility that will serve the community for generations to come.
