Happy holidays everyone! I’ve planned enough larger projects to (hopefully) carry through winter, but wanted to make this post to reach any potential new clients. I’d like to have many smaller projects on my books for short-lead time work to keep things flowing. These projects are things that don’t require much write up, and can be done with just 1 trip (is it ever just 1 trip?) to the hardware store. I’ll leave an example list, or if you have anything else that fits, I’d love the opportunity to become your first call when you need help around your home.

Bathroom Projects
-Vanity installation or replacement
-Faucet & fixture swaps
-Toilet install/reinstall
-Shower head replacements
-Bath exhaust fan installation
-Minor plumbing adjustments
-Caulking & waterproofing touch-ups
-Backsplash tile in small baths

Kitchen Projects
-Faucet replacements
-Garbage disposal swaps
-Tile backsplash installation
-Cabinet hardware installs
-Cabinet door alignment
-Under-cabinet lighting

Carpentry
-Door rehanging & alignment
-Baseboard installation/replacement
-Window & door casing installation
-Wainscoting or accent walls
-Interior trim upgrades
-Drywall/plaster patches and finishing
-Small flooring jobs
-Small subfloor repairs
-Small painting projects

Electrical
-Light fixture installs
-Ceiling fan replacement
-Vanity lights
-Switch/outlet swaps
-Basic LED upgrades

Recently discovered the majority of my reviews have been being directed to essentially purgatory due to my reluctance to invest in a website. I am aware that I cannot actually relocate them to reflect my ratings, but I can at least share them. I appreciate all of your support and look forward to assisting you with your homes and businesses. If you notice, lots of repeat clients. My pride is in developing lasting relationships within our community

10/10 would sit on this porch, how about you?

One of my more interesting projects this year. Take a pile of 120+ year old reclaimed barnwood, rotting under a deck for years, and create something to be admired an enjoyed for years to come

I’ve been lucky enough to reunite with my best hand, and life is good again. Now I just need some fresh projects to keep us off the unemployment line. Who's got a honey-do list they've been neglecting? Let's chat. Bonus: my go-to laborer is twiddling his thumbs, so husbands, get the lowdown from your wives and give me a holler.

I was excited when the opportunity arose to sponsor my niece’s softball team this year in foxtail league. I took advantage of a chance to give back to my community, invest in the advertisement prospect to be put a banner on the fence, be on kids jerseys and adult shirts to be worn for years to come. That excitement has worn off before the season has even began. The biggest let down was learning that parents weren’t even given an option to purchase shirts representing the team their children play for, just a color coded shirt that says Moundsville softball 2024. I understand the sponsorship is more about the donation for the league, but sponsorships are normally mutually beneficial. Anybody knows that shirts purchased by adults will be worn more than a child’s jersey, and that is the greatest opportunity for advertisement that I feel the businesses were really shortchanged on. The other thoughtless mishap is that my banner advertisement is spelled wrong, really hope that will be corrected, but I just can’t win in this relationship.

I am really terrible at keeping up appearances of socials. I’m still here, serving my community to the best of my ability, and staying busy at it. I don’t pay for any advertising, but the opportunity arose for me to sponsor my niece’s softball team this season, and I’m thrilled about that. Team Deft Lefty is gonna make a run for the Youth championship this year, so keep your eyes peeled! Haven’t been up to many impressive jobs lately, swapping toilets, fixing subfloors, drywall work, overall nothing to write home about and I’m not one to brag. I will share something really cool I’ve got to do recently, found a set of 100 year old French doors with original shellac that I repurposed and installed in a bedroom renovation in a 1920s home in Wheeling. That’s all for now. For most demands of the average homeowner, I offer more value than a contractor, and more piece of mind than your average handyman. Something to keep in mind when entrusting someone with the integrity of your home.
I wish everyone well, protect your peace, love yins

Most recent project I completed. This came to me by way of AB Builders, a HIGHLY esteemed Amish business. I was shocked that I was even on their radar as an established business, and was thrilled to be able to complete this for them and finish this beautiful home for these wonderful clients

Exciting news for the business!
I was contacted by a company to incorporate a system which streamlines the client interaction and manage the logistics, condensing all of the work you don't see into one platform. Now, the communication pipeline is wide open, smooth, and can be tailored to each individual I serve. This is really gonna take my service to the next level, and I can't wait till you all see this!

I'm dipping my toe in the water for a lifelong friend. He works for a landscaping company and handles all of their hardscapes, so much so that the owner has no idea how to do them himself. He feels undervalued there, and is considering branching off himself. After some discussion, I'm offering the service of small retaining wall projects, patios, rock gardens, etc to be handled by his expertise in the subject. This is exciting for the business, as the prospect for new clients from the exposure of another service offered, and completing these projects outside, for all to see, has me wanting to put the hammer down and get out there in the community!

I am so thrilled to have this small platform, which I hope to be a launching pad for him to propel himself into a business of his own, to work off of.

Please share this, tell your friends and family, tell a stranger. I can't wait to hear from you, let's get you scheduled today!

I love tackling projects I've never attempted before, and working for clients as nice as this couple is. Homeowner tip: treated lumber and aluminum cannot come into contact with one another. It causes a reaction that will corrode the metal. That was the case here, I believe. Water was able to pe*****te the wood, and it rotted from the inside out, causing the roof to sag. I also matched him with a painter, and together we were able to give this beautiful home some fresh curb appeal.

The right choice in home service

05/25/2023

The relief on the faces of customers after fixing what they had hired another of the area's businesses to do is what keeps me in the craft. Just a PSA that you thoroughly make sure the person you're hiring to work on your home knows what it is they're attempting to do. That's not to say they dont have their uses. Theyre great options for hauling away junk, touching up paint, pulling weeds, assembling furniture, and things of the like.. Just remember, fixing another's mistake can be costly, and money is important to us all. The whole reason I started this business was to provide quality services to those who don't need a whole contracting outfit to complete a task. It felt great to be reminded just how important it is to be able to serve this community. Thank you all for your support, and enjoy the upcoming holiday!
