🎉 Celebrating 50 Years of Service! 🎉

May 1st, 2024 marks a remarkable milestone for the Ressler family, including Peiffer’s current Owner and President, Kelly Ressler, who followed in her father’s and grandfather’s legacy of service, assuming the Peiffer Corporate Leadership role in January 2014.

WHY keep doing what we’re doing? On the surface, Machine Tool Repair and Rebuilding is an oxymoron for the hyper-paced, digital world of 2024. Old vs. new, gritty vs. shiny, persistence vs. instant gratification.

But as the grease and grime give way to pristine restoration, we find our ‘why’. It’s what we achieve TOGETHER. It’s what we are restoring for our customers—their own productivity and success. It’s what we know in our hearts is an important legacy of service and craftsmanship that is essential for the continued viability of American industry.

Full circle moments are another JOY…. (Not unlike small town, small world-isms!)

Meet Tristan S., one of our newest Team Members here at Peiffer Machine Services. Tristan graduated
from the Lebanon County Career & Technology Center Precision Machining program and just
completed his first year at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology

This week brought the opportunity for
Tristan to accompany a veteran Peiffer
Technician on a Service Call to his alma
mater to work on replacing the X/Y
ballscrew bracket on a Clausing Kondia Mill,
which was damaged in a crash.

We could not be prouder of Tristan’s work
this summer, as he is learning the ways of
machine tool repair and rebuilding! (And
we’re quite certain his former Instructor,
Mr. Eric Tanger, pictured here with Tristan,
is as proud as we are!)

The month of June brings all kinds of JOYS—it’s Summer!! And for the Peiffer Team, that also means it’s time for the Annual Peiffer Fishing Trip….

Following the passion of our Team for anything outdoors, as well as the decades long boating/fishing heritage of Bob Ressler and his son, Jim, we hit the ‘high seas’ (quite literally yesterday, as the winds were blowing a stiff 10-15mph out of the NE, creating nasty swells for the ride out--gulp)….

Nevertheless, as with the most challenging of Machine Tool Rebuild jobs, the Peiffer Team prevailed and hauled in the fish AND enjoyed each other’s company….

Special shout-out to Captain Dave and his crew on the Queen Mary Party Fishing Boat and Charters in Point Pleasant, NJ -- we'll be back next year!!

P.S. We’re guessing it was meant to be in finding Captain Dave, as we learned that his family had a business for many years in Myerstown…. Small town, small world-isms are the best! 😊
