A new space calls for a big celebration! 🎉

Last week, we officially celebrated the grand opening of our Raleigh office’s new permanent home in Cary, NC!

We kicked things off with a ribbon cutting alongside the Cary Chamber of Commerce, followed by an outdoor celebration with live music, raffles, and a full hog roast!

Since putting down roots in the Triangle in 2024, our crew has continued to grow, and this new space marks an exciting next chapter. A big thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Here’s to what’s ahead! 🥂

Golden hour looks good on Shem Creek! 🌅

Our Charleston office SW+ Women's Initiative Golden Hour Soirée brought together women from across the AEC industry for an evening of new connections, waterfront views, and a little sunset fun!

With live music and sunset margaritas, the evening was all about bringing women together and building connections across the industry.

Building more than great sites. 🏠
Last Friday, members of our Charleston team rolled up their sleeves for the annual Sea Island Habitat for Humanity home build! We had a blast working together and lending a hand in a community we’re proud to call home.
This volunteer day is part of the Vibrancy pillar of Green Square, our company-wide philanthropic initiative focused on improving the quality of life in the communities where we live and work.
Thank you to Sea Island Habitat for Humanity for having us. We’re always grateful for the opportunity to get out of the office and give back!

We recently joined the City of Charleston and project partners to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Fort Pemberton Park on James Island!

With a historic Civil War-era fort to preserve and a shellfish harvesting bed nearby, thoughtful planning and design were key. Our team supported the project from concept through construction, helping navigate the site’s unique historical and environmental considerations along the way.

We’re proud to see this new waterfront space open for the community to enjoy.

Breaking ground on a new chapter for a familiar Hanahan corner! 🚧

A few weeks ago, we celebrated the start of construction on Blackwells Corner, a new mixed-use development taking shape on the former site of Blackwell Hardware, a longtime part of the Hanahan community.

SW+ provided master planning for Blackwells Corner and is also providing surveying, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and construction administration alongside Hill Construction and Bello Garris Architects.

As one of the first projects supporting the city’s vision for a new city center, we’re excited to see what’s ahead for this corner of Hanahan!

Mount Pleasant Magazine recently highlighted the Kenny Mile, a section of the Mount Pleasant Way trail system named in honor of SW+ co-founder Kenny Seamon and his decades of service to the community.
