B & H Cementing recently did a plug job near Grandville, Michigan. The original hole was drilled in 1940 and later a gravel pit was established nearby and the hole was in a low lying area. We're told that as Grand Rapids was developed and grew in size this forced more water into the Grand River causing overflow/flooding into the low areas. Our equipment was hauled over to the location on a barge. A new experience for us in Michigan! Does this make us offshore now??? :)

Help rig up and rig down equipment, mix drilling mud/fluids, trip in and out of well bore. Pre-employment physical and drug screen required. Weekly pay. Floors start at $22.60/hr, derricks at $23.30 with $135.00 daily per diem. Inexperienced start at $20.00. Group medical, dental and optical insurance after 90 days. Annual safety bonus, quarterly clothing allowance. 401k after 1 year. Work in state of Michigan and expect a busy year. Prefer experienced rig hands, water and service rig hands but will train.
