Lake season is here! Before you jump in, read this first. ⚠️Faulty wiring on docks can cause electric shock drowning, often with no warning signs. If you feel tingling in the water, swim away immediately and avoid the dock. Make sure your dock is properly inspected and up to code. Turn off power to the dock before swimming nearby. Put safety first before jumping in! 🏊‍♀️

Early voting for the 90th Annual Meeting is now open! Members in Districts 1, 5, and 8 are eligible to vote for a candidate within their district to serve on the Board of Directors. Vote online, through your SmartHub account, or request a mail-in ballot. Members who choose early voting will be entered into the Attendance Prize Drawing.

The 90th Annual Meeting will take place Friday, July 31 at Aurora High School. More information, including full questionnaires for each candidate for the Board of Directors, can be found at www.ozarkelectric.com/AnnualMeeting.

➡ONLINE: Visit www.ozarkvotes.com or log-in to your SmartHub account to access the voting portal. Enter the verification information to access your ballot. Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. on July 29.

➡MAIL-IN: Request a mail-in ballot by calling 573-340-1978. Mail-in ballots can be requested through July 15 and must be received by July 29. Follow ballot instructions, DO NOT mail your ballot to Ozark Electric.

Multiple rounds of of strong to severe storms will pose a risk for damaging straight line winds, large hail, and a brief tornado today and tonight. There is higher confidence in the round of storms this evening into tonight.

Mark your calendar for Ozark Electric's 90th Annual Meeting on Friday, July 31 at Aurora High School (NEW location)! Registration, voting, and lunch begin at 10:30 a.m. with the business meeting at 1:00 p.m.

NEW early voting opportunities open on Monday, June 15! Members in District 1, District 5, or District 8 can vote online, through their SmartHub account, or by mail-in ballot for a Board Director candidate within their district. Stay tuned for the early voting guide posted on Monday. For more information on early voting or to read the candidate questionnaires, visit www.ozarkelectric.com/AnnualMeeting.
