Our Varsity team has been busy Pedro Pathing their bot while also working through the design and development of their shooter. They’re testing, tweaking, problem-solving, and learning with every iteration.

The robot is coming together, and we’re excited to see what this team accomplishes!

Our JV team has been putting in the time, working through the engineering and design process to bring their robot to life. From brainstorming and problem-solving to making adjustments along the way, they’re learning that great robots are built through teamwork, persistence, and plenty of trial and error!

Build season is underway, and we can’t wait to see where this team takes it!

While our teams are busy learning, designing, building, and programming, our experienced members are also helping our newer members find their place.

This week, Collin was working with one of our newer programmers, helping them learn the basics of coding and getting more comfortable with programming.

That’s what being a RoboRam is all about — learning together, sharing knowledge, and helping each other grow.

We’re excited to see what this build season brings!

THE WAIT IS OVER! KICKOFF IS TOMORROW!

The RoboRams are ready to discover what’s next!

Tomorrow, September 12, the 2026–2027 FIRST Tech Challenge season officially kicks off with the reveal of BIOBUZZ presented by RTX!

This year’s FIRST CANOPY season is inspired by the natural world, biodiversity, and the incredible systems that connect us all.

RoboRam mentors and students will be heading to SIUE to join other teams from the area for a special kickoff event. We are looking forward to watching the new game reveal and learn what this season has in store!

Students need to be at MVTHS by 8:00 AM
Estimated return: 7:00–8:00 PM

Students must have a completed Parent Permission Form turned in by Friday, August 28 in order to attend Robot Rumble.

Last week, we hosted our RoboRams Robotics Camp, and it was a huge success! We had a great turnout of students who were eager to learn, create, and explore the exciting world of robotics.

A big THANK YOU to all of the parents who brought their students out and supported this opportunity. Your encouragement helps make programs like this possible.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our RoboRams students who volunteered their time, shared their knowledge, and helped make this camp a memorable experience for everyone. We truly couldn't have done it without them!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this camp such a success. We are already looking forward to next year!
