As part of a community-wide America 250 initiative, a traveling flag is making its way through local businesses, with photos being collected for a time capsule that will be opened in 2076. We were proud to welcome the flag to The Cox Group and contribute our small piece of Mt. Vernon history.

Last week we had the honor of celebrating Mike Gibbs’ retirement in Greenville, SC.

Mike dedicated 30 years to our company, beginning his career in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, relocating four times, and ultimately retiring in Greenville after leading our largest distribution center.

His dedication, leadership, and commitment to our team have left a lasting impact, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he has poured into this company over the years.

Last week, we had the honor of celebrating Mike Gibbs’ retirement in Greenville, SC.

At The Cox Group, we believe in supporting the communities where we live and work. Recently, members of our team had the opportunity to serve lunch to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Gateway House.

For families with a child receiving medical care, even simple daily tasks can feel overwhelming. By providing lunch, our team helped ease one small burden so parents and caregivers could focus on what matters most - their child.

When a potentially unsafe situation arose involving an unstable TU, Chris quickly stepped in to help a newer employee and took control of the situation. His experience, quick thinking, and commitment to safety helped prevent an incident and ensured the job was completed safely.
