Are you a mechanical minded individual looking for a fun place to work and learn new skills? Do you enjoy working on a variety of projects? Smileys Pro Services / Maritime Fabrications is looking for an apprentice to join our team of skilled craftsman. Smileys does fabrication, repair, trailer maintenance and CNC work utilizing plastics, steel, stainless, and aluminum. Candidates who are interested in getting their foot in the door with a growing company and learning a new career would be a great fit our organization.
Work will include:
- Assisting fabricators with things like material cutting and prep
- Learning to diagnosing and repairing faulty trailer wiring (12/24v Systems)
- Learning to installing gooseneck, 5th wheel, and bumper-pull hitches
- Learning to operate CNC machines
- Learning welding practices with all materials
- Learning to rebuild & repair equipment, to include vehicles and trailers
- Helping throughout the shop as needed
Shop capabilities include:
- 2021 Apex CNC router
- 2015 Fadal 4020 3-axis CNC
- 2012 Tormach PNCN100 3-axis CNC
- 2005 Fadal TRM 3-axis CNC
- 200 and 400 ton press brakes
- 12’ shear

Smileys shop also does steel, stainless, and aluminum fabrication work on new projects as well as repairs. Candidates who are interested in cross training with both aluminum and steel fabricators would be a great fit for this business and organization.
Work will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing faulty trailer wiring (12/24v Systems)
- Repairing and installing RV/trailer skin
- Troubleshooting and repairing RV systems
- Installing gooseneck, 5th wheel, and bumper-pull hitches on a variety of vehicles
- Installing vehicle accessories such as aftermarket fuel systems, liftgates, and plows
- Minor welding
- Rebuilding & repairing equipment, to include vehicles and trailers

Smiley's Pro Services is looking for someone with CAD experienced Preferably with SolidWorks experience. Pay is $20-26 depending on level of experience.

Do you enjoy turning ideas into digital drawings then see them becoming functional, usable parts? Smiley’s Pro Services / Maritime Fabrications is looking for a technology savvy individual to assist with drawing and designing parts in SolidWorks as well as operate our CNC router table and CNC milling machines. Experience with cad programs required and CNC experience a plus. The work is primarily performed in the shop and will include running a forklift. Candidates who are mechanically inclined and interested in cross training would be a great fit for this business and organization.

Work will include:
- Part design and modification using SolidWorks:
o Work with the fabricators for design recommendations and file updates.
o Interface with customers and vendors to help solve their needs.
- Use SolidCam and V-Carve to program parts for cutting on out CNC machines.
- Use Critical thinking to solve program or machine issues.
- Operate both CNC router and the 3-axis CNC machines
- Operate manual machines like a Bridgeport style mill and lathes
- Working in a positive and fast-paced environment
