🔨 Historic Restoration Project Underway 🔨

Today the crew at EVERGREEN CONSTRUCTION is hard at work at the historic 1856 Hammond House replacing these aging porch columns with new structural support posts and custom tapered column wraps.

Once we opened everything up, we discovered there were no true structural support posts in place beneath the existing columns — so we’re correcting it the right way by installing proper structural posts before the new tapered columns go back up. 💪🏽

Projects like this are special to us — preserving the character and beauty of a historic property while strengthening it for years to come. 🏡
