This is a 1930s Hammond bichronous electric day/date clock. What makes this clock interesting, is the movement winds up a spring that can run the clock up to 30 minutes in the event of a power outage. All this clock needed was two bakelite gear teeth replaced, a rewire, cleaning, and relube. I also polished the bakelite case and the glass. The first video shows it running plugged in, the second is it running off it’s mainspring. Pretty cool, and very complex movement!
