JANUARY: Welcomed Kim Allen to our team as the Community Engagement Specialist.
FEBRUARY: Debuted some new “Be Love” merch.
MARCH: Heard from former foster youth about their experiences at Every Child Matters.
APRIL: 7,000+ of you in 14 Stanislaus County cities volunteered at our City Wide Volunteer Days.
MAY: Gave graduating seniors in foster care free photo sessions and graduation announcements to celebrate this huge accomplishment.
JUNE: Love Our Schools partnered with Love Riverbank and Cardozo Middle School to host a breakfast for graduating 8th graders.
JULY: Our team had our first annual “Dream Day” where we spent time learning about each other, laughing together, praying together, and dreaming about how to best serve our community.
AUGUST: Love Our Schools hosted 6 Chalk the Walk events in Modesto and Love Patterson hosted 8 in their city; covering sidewalks with encouraging messages for students and teachers to read on the first day of school.
SEPTEMBER: All year, Love Our Neighbors gave out mini grants and inspired people to host neighborhood gatherings. This is a picture of “Art Day in the Park” with seniors.
OCTOBER: Halloween Neighborhood Night was a hit again this year. Pictured is our giveaway winner who took home the Yogurt Mill gift basket.
NOVEMBER: Love Our Kids continues to deliver needed items to children in foster care and their families all throughout the year.
DECEMBER: Assembled 1,000 comfort kits that will be given to foster children in our area over the next year.
