Celebrating 20 Years of Dedication:

We are incredibly grateful for Diana Tigreros and her 20 years of dedication, leadership, and impact at AES. Since joining us in 2005, Diana has taken on nearly every role imaginable, customer service, accounting supervisor, VP of Trade Management, and now proudly serves as our Chief Commercial Strategist.

One of her most remarkable achievements has been building our Latin American RORO vertical from scratch. What began as a challenge is now, six years later, a thriving and vital line of business thanks to her vision, perseverance, and unmatched drive.

Diana’s tenacity and commitment to excellence inspires us all, and we are beyond fortunate to have her as part of our team.

Please join us in congratulating Diana on her incredible 20-year anniversary with AES!

Celebrating 20 Years of Dedication

It’s not every day we get to celebrate a 20-year work anniversary — and today, we have the privilege of recognizing someone who has truly helped shape the very foundation of our company: Mike De Candia

As Pete Bottino perfectly put it:

"When you think of AES, Mike De Candia is the first person who comes to mind. Mike has been with AES since he was in college and has been one of the most significant leaders in this line of business throughout AES’s 26 years. The growth and multiple new service offerings could not have been accomplished without Mike and his unmatched work ethic."

Mike’s impact on AES has been nothing short of extraordinary. His leadership, deep knowledge, and relentless commitment have been central to our evolution and success. He has helped lead us through major milestones, pushed innovation, and exemplified what it means to lead by example.

Mike, thank you for your two decades of dedication, your unwavering standards, and the heart you bring to everything you do. We’re better because of you — and we’re excited to continue building the future together.

Please join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement!

AES hosted our annual “Bring Your Child to Work Day” on April 24th, 2025. AES’ next generation of employees learned about the stages of supply chain, had fun at the park, and hopped onto a trailer pretending to be cargo on the move!

It is with great honor that AES’ President, Pete Bottino’s wife, Bernadette Bottino was asked to be the Godmother of the newly built Grimaldi vessel, the GREAT COTONOU. The ceremony took place in mid-December 2024, in Busan, South Korea, where the ship was manufactured.

The GREAT COTONOU made her direct maiden voyage from Shanghai, China to Lagos, Nigeria.

AES is extremely excited for the Bottino family to have been part of this once in a lifetime experience.

We wish the entire crew of the GREAT COTONOU safe sailings around the world.
