Hello everyone, I have been getting quite a few calls from people asking about potentially having me perform a custom Cerakote application for their fi****ms. I want to thank you all for coming to Rabid Bear Coatings, LLC. It means a lot to me that you trust me with your fi****ms and the custom designed Cerakote application.

Now, the bad news...
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic, the Rabid Bear is in hibernation. I am unable to procure the necessary PPE, equipment, and materials to be able to apply the Cerakote safely, cleanly, and to my very high standards. Rest assured, the Rabid Bear will awaken again when things calm down a bit. I am also using this time to upgrade my spray equipment to the Cerakote recommended equipment, adding a bunch of improved side lighting, upgrading my booth and filtration, and adding better stencil making equipment. I am also looking into laser engraving for a really amazing new dimension of creative possibilities. I hope that you all hang with us and stay safe and healthy during this unprecedented epidemic. More announcements will be forthcoming in the next few months. Take care.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Rabid Bear’s Den. I have many new updates for you.
1) The website has been taken down. This will be the best place for news and for contacting me about Cerakote work on your projects.
2) Rabid Bear Coatings LLC and I, Michael J Kachel, are Cerakote Factory Trained and Certified to apply all Cerakote products. Both my company and I were certified on 06/18/2019.
3) I have completed several projects, built and purchased better equipment, and I am ready to begin working on your projects. Please don’t hesitate to call or text me when you are ready to have me complete your projects.
4) Rabid Bear Coatings LLC has been a friend to Civil Servants, All Law Enforcement personnel including Local, Municipal, County, State, Prison, TSA, FBI, CIA, NSA, US Marshals, Secret Service, CBP, ICE, DEA, ATFE, and any other Federal or local authorities (Current, Former, and Reserves), Firefighters, EMTs, Search & Rescue, Divers, Current and Former Military including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and all Reserves. Any current or former members of any of the previously mentioned branches of service and the ones I missed will receive a 15% discount on the cost of your projects as a thank you for your service and dedication to your country, communities, and the people you work so hard to protect. Please scroll through the photos to see the new look for my R***r P95. The pictures uploaded in a weird order and screwed up my post. Still trying to figure Facebook out. The frame, magazines and slide are Cerakote H Series Burnt Bronze while the slide and frame also have a coating of distressed H series Cobalt Black. The barrel, trigger, hammer, extractor, slide release, safety, and base plates on the magazines are finished in Cerakote H series “Rabid Blue”- a color I custom mixed while training at NIC’s amazing Cerakote training facility in mid June 2019.
