We did wonderfully at World Champs, competing in the Newton finals, and we are so excited to start our outreach for the offseason!

Stop down for dinner. Qdoba donates 25% of every purchase to the team, making our efforts for the community even more fantastic!

Hey, Robotics and Baseball Fans!

Team 930 is having a DockHounds fundraiser for their game on June 16th in Oconomowoc, WI. Buying tickets will help benefit us and our outreach for the offseason! If you haven’t already, please feel free to purchase tickets if possible!

The cost is $20 per ticket, where $10 will go to Team 930. Our Team will have a robot shoot the first pitch, which will be super cool!

Make sure to purchase your tickets to help support the DockHounds and the team!

Join us for our Open House and explore a variety of roles in a team, like electrical, programming, CAD, and business! Visit us at 700 Swan Drive, and get to look at our 2026 season robot, Typhoon!

We’ll also have a LEGO robot demonstration for younger students and much more to discover!

Our season has finally come to a close. As many of you know, Team 930 had the amazing opportunity to attend the Houston World Championship again this year, through our hard work and dedication. After a 18 hour bus ride, we arrived in Houston, Texas Tuesday afternoon.

Prior to the competition, we attended the famous water wall, and held a small race in the park the have there. On Wednesday, we were given the opportunity to have a tour of the Houston Tunnels. Then, we went to the George R. Brown Center to start the practice matches.

Thursday and Friday were filled with qualifications matches on our Newton Division. This was a challenge for us, as there were teams from across the globe we got to compete with, all of which used different strategies than the teams we were used to is Wisconsin.

On Saturday, we started the day with the alliance selection. We ended up becoming the first pick of the 5th alliance, with our Captain second pick and our third pick

We lost our first match, but the proceeded to climb the ranks of our division by winning each match after, landing us in the finals of our division. While we did not move onto Einstein, we earned the right to call ourselves Newton finalists.

We’d like to give our congratulations to the first place alliance of the Newton Division, for becoming the world champion finalists. This was , , , and .

This was an amazing competition to end our season with, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We thank all of our students, especially our seniors, for bringing us to where we are.

Our team has a lot to celebrate right now. We are truly honored to be heading to the World Stage of FIRST Robotics for the fourth year in a row. We will be competing in the Newton Division at the FIRST World Championship in Houston, TX alongside ~600 teams from across the globe.

Getting there is no small feat. Our anticipated budget is over $20,000 to get 40 students, 20 mentors, our robot, tools, and parts to Texas to compete on the world stage.

Today we are celebrating Whitaker! Whitaker has been here for four phenomenal years. He has supported our FRC team through every chaotic moment in E-Mech. Most of his time was spent in fabrication, and he used his 3-D printing knowledge to help the team.

One of his greatest team moments is winning the True Blue. This is one banner of each type (Woodie Flowers, FIRST Impact, and one of the Regional Winners) at the Wisconsin regional. He plans on going to either UW-Madison or MIT for an Aerospace Engineering degree.

Whitaker’s absence will be felt, but we’re cheering them on as they take their next steps.
