Team 930 hosted an event called Crush It held at Eagleville Elementary for 4-6th graders. We held a collaboration between an environment club EcoLago, and Team 930 to help students sketch, prototype, and eventually build a can-crushing robot over a 2-month period.

Last Sunday, Team 930 was honored to be invited to Milwaukee's annual Harbor Fest by one of our long-term sponsors, Komatsu and the Harbor District! It was a gorgeous day to demo our past season’s robot and spread awareness about our program to the community. We even got the chance to talk to students from fellow robotics teams.

A Komatsu employee, who is also one of our team's mentors, led us on a brief tour and showed us a few elements of what it takes to program and test really large drilling machines.

Thank you to Komatsu and all of our sponsors that make our successes possible!

Tonight was Mukwonago’s National Night Out at Field Park, and it was a fantastic chance to show off our robot and connect with the community. We even had a special guest, Rep. Chuck Wichgers stopped by and took a turn driving the robot. Events like this are some of our favorites because they let us share what our program is all about and see just how much joy our robot brings to people of all ages.

Good Evening!

This past weekend we hosted MROC, the Mukwonago Robotics Offseason Competition at Mukwonago High School!

This event was open to the community and it let FRC teams practice in the offseason. We had 29 teams with 33 robots compete in our regional-style event. This year was our 5th year anniversary of MROC and we celebrated with special visuals on our stream provided by Lyndsey Krist (visit https://www.lkphotographs.com/)

On Saturday, we held 8 workshops across 6 different FRC teams. These workshops had 227 attendees, giving these individuals the opportunity to learn about a large variety of topics related to FIRST. This event allowed us to interact with our community and other teams with features like a button station, merch, raffle, team social, mentor matches, engaging interviews and match analysis at the MROC live desk. We were so grateful to continue partnering with the Milwaukee Crosstrainer’s Academy to donate 25 backpacks of school supplies to students in need.

Finally, congratulations to the second alliance winners: Team 1732- Hilltopper Robotics, 6574- Ferradermis, 6643- Walnuts and bolts, and 9991 (2202-BEAST Robotics’ off-season robot)!

Please see our website for more information on other award winners!

We would like to send out a special shout out to Prismatic Powders, who graciously provided the stunning powder coating for our MROC trophies this year. We are truly grateful for their generosity that has helped us offer professional trophies.

A multitude of people have been instrumental in running our offseason event MROC, but we wanted to highlight one volunteer in particular. This year we have been able to have green screen drive team intro’s for each match! This is all thanks to Lyndsey, .cr2, who is helping take MROC to the next level! Thanks again to all our sponsors and supporters!
