All Our Loyal Customers:

As you may have heard, my husband and love of my life, Mike King, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 29th. I wanted to reach out to you all personally to let you know that we will be keeping Mike King Heating & Cooling Inc. open and running just like Mike would have wanted, even in this most difficult time.

Mike took great pride in caring for our customers like family; a value that he instilled in myself and our children, as well as throughout our company. It is because of you, our loyal customers, and the dedication of our experienced employees, that we will be able to continue forth with Mike's commitment to providing excellent service and installation to all of our customers.

It’s almost that time of year again!! Don’t get caught in the cold 🥶 unexpectedly!!! It’s a great day to change your furnace filter and turn your heat ON to check and make sure it’s working! Don’t wait until it’s too late! There’s no award for waiting until the last minute 🤣😂. Parts are taking longer so let’s get ahead of the cold weather and any repairs that may be needed!!!

With 2021 taken shape Mike King Heating and Cooling Inc. is looking to expand our team.. We are a Family Owned and Operated HVAC company with over 20 years servicing Muncie and surrounding areas. We are looking for outgoing, friendly, knowledgeable, energetic, trustworthy and reliable employees to add to our team. Mike King Heating & Cooling installs and services Commercial and Residential HVAC systems. We have our own sheet metal shop to make custom duct work, so we are able to service our clients quickly and efficiently.

*** We are looking for Lead Installers with a min of 2 years experience.

Responsibilities:
Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
Adapt to existing systems
Installing custom ductwork when needed
Duct Cleanings

Qualifications: 2+ years experience with HVAC
All of our trucks are stocked with the latest tools for the job, you need to have your own hand tools.
Must have valid Drivers License
Must be trustworthy and reliable

*** We are also looking for experienced Service Techs with 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:
Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
Perform routine preventative maintenance

Qualifications:
3+ years experience with HVAC
All of our trucks are stocked with the latest tools for the job, you need to have your own hand tools.
Must have valid Drivers License
Must be trustworthy and reliable

Don’t get caught in the cold this season! We at Mike King Heating and Cooling recommend all customers change their furnace filters before this weekend, February 6th & 7th, with the impending arctic weather coming through. A dirty furnace filter will reduce airflow through your system, causing the furnace to overheat and fail. We also wish to remind you that your equipment may experience longer that normal run times in efforts to keep up and may fall short of your desired temperature. This is normal during extremely cold weather. We recommend lowering your thermostat set point to a comfortable, but lower temperature in order to achieve the set point and allow your equipment to rest between cycles. Lastly, make sure all registers are open and unobstructed! Closed off registers reduce airflow, further complicating issues.
