SLAB SCHOOL: Fall Leaves and Concrete Stains 🍂

Those pretty fall leaves piling up on your driveway or patio? Left sitting through a few rainy days, they can leave behind brown tannin stains that are tough to get out. Light colored, unsealed, and stamped surfaces show it the most.

Here's what helps:
- Sweep or blow leaves off before the rain moves in, instead of letting them sit and soak.
- Seal your concrete. Sealed surfaces resist stains far better. Plan to reseal every 2-5 years.
-Not sure if yours is still protected? Sprinkle some water on it. If it beads up, you're good. If it soaks in, it's time.

Already see a stain? Start with gentle cleaning, and if you pressure wash, keep the pressure moderate so you don't damage the surface.
