Thanks for sharing these Amazing results. Got to love a picture like this. Keep up the good work 5 Brothers Exterior Cleaning
This chimney had years of copper oxidation and soot staining built up on the stonework — and the before and after speaks for itself.
Cleaning a chimney like this isn't as simple as blasting it with high pressure, and simple sh (bleach) will do nothing on these type of stains. Stone and mortar require a careful approach. We used Eco Chem One Restore (from our favorite chemical supplier Absolute Chemical Murfreesboro ) to break down the oxidation and staining at the chemical level, then followed up with a controlled 1,000 PSI rinse — just enough to flush everything away without damaging the mortar joints.
Too much pressure on aged mortar can cause real problems down the road — water intrusion, cracking, and accelerated deterioration. The chemistry does the heavy lifting so the pressure doesn't have to.
If your chimney is showing green oxidation, black soot staining, or just years of buildup, we can help restore it the right way.
