Share & relive the memories! If you have old videotapes (beta,VHS,8mm,miniDV) or 35mm slides or negatives, get them digitized so that you can view them (the holidays will be here before you know it!). Many places that convert media have lead times of 3 to 6 weeks, so you may want to consider getting started now!

All videotapes (VHS, beta, 8mm, etc) have a limited lifespan. Under ideal storage, 20 years is not a problem, but for tapes that were recorded in the early 1980's, that is now about 35 years ago! If you have videotapes that old, you may wish to consider having them digitized!

If you have older "media" (such as videotapes and slides), do NOT store them in attics or garages. These environments will prematurely degrade this type of media, making it difficult or impossible to convert (digitize) them later on. Keep them stored in a climate controlled environment and away from direct sunlight. Better yet, get them converted to a digital format (feel free to ask us for more details!)
