Is your company or organization thinking about solar but unsure how to pay for it? There’s more than one way to make it happen:

Buy Outright – Pay upfront, own the system, and keep 100% of the savings.

Finance – Spread out payments while still owning the system and enjoying immediate savings.

Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) – Pay only for the energy produced - often at a lower rate than your utility.

Every business is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution.

Whether you want maximum ROI, flexibility, or $0 upfront costs, reach out to us and we will help you explore which option fits your project best.

At Chart House Energy, we believe in more than just delivering solar installations, we’re committed to building meaningful partnerships with our clients and communities every step of the way. We’re proud and grateful to have worked with Nick Carlson and the incredible team at Goodwill Industries of West Michigan on their recent solar project.

"I am thrilled to share my experience with Chart House Energy regarding our recent solar installation project. They installed over 1,400 solar panels for a robust 675 kW system, and I couldn't be more impressed with their professionalism and expertise.
From the start, the team at Chart House Energy was fantastic to work with. They were highly responsive and supportive throughout the entire process, making sure all our questions were answered and concerns addressed. Their commitment to delivering quality work was evident at every stage.

What truly stood out to us was their dedication to community engagement. Chart House Energy partnered with our workforce development department to hire participants from Goodwill's programs for installation projects beyond our own. This not only provided valuable job opportunities but also demonstrated their commitment to supporting local initiatives.
Overall, we had an exceptional experience with Chart House Energy and would highly recommend them for any solar installation project. Their expertise, customer service, and community involvement make them a standout choice for anyone looking to go solar!"
– Nick Carlson, Business Development Director, Goodwill Industries of West Michigan

At Chart House Energy, we’re proud to deliver more than just high-quality solar solutions, we strive to create partnerships that empower our clients and uplift communities. Thank you to Nick, the Goodwill team, and our own amazing team for making this project such a success!

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUCEMENT:

The new administration has indicated that they want to decrease funding for IRA incentives. We have not seen the details yet and likely will see this as part of the budget process. Budgets approved in one year are implemented in the following year, thus we expect the IRA incentives to be unaltered in 2025 and 2026 will follow the new, approved budget from 2025's budget process. For this reason, we suggest that people who might be considering solar projects should consider getting their project completed in 2025.

We expect 2025 to be a very busy year for Chart House Energy and recommend customers make their decisions very early in the year.

This is another project that our team here at Chart House Energy is quite proud of! After the wind storm a couple of months ago, the 14 year old system installed by a competitor at Every Woman's Place in Muskegon was left quite damaged. We stepped up, reached out to them, and completed all of the necessary repairs to get them back up and produing electricity and saving money! Here are the before and after pictures:

We are very proud of our working relationship with Goodwill. This picture is an installation that we just completed for them on one of their buildings. Even more important, we are proud to be able to help support our community by providing jobs to people being given second chances and better opportunies, courtesy of the commitment of Goodwill to these individuals.

That is why this video means so much to our entire team here at Chart House Energy! The entire video is heart warming. At minute 4:00, a valued employee of Chart House Energy is featured. Way to go, Lex! We are glad to have you on the team and we are proud of you!

WIND DAMAGE?

One of the most common questions we get asked about our solar installations is: "But what about wind?" We especially get this on our rubber/EPDM membrane flat roofs, which do not have raised metal seams like our installations on metal flat roofs. On membrane roofs, we do not pentrate the roof membrane and use only ballast (weights) to secure the solar array from taking flight or shifting. This design was used at Torresen Marine and Trinity Health Arena (shown here in the picture), for example. Whereas at Smart Vision Lights and Supreme Machined Products, mechanical fasteners were used to attach the panels to the raised standing seam of the metal roof.

It is very important for all of our potential future customers to know that in this recent wind storm yesterday morning, NOT ONE OF OUR PANELS AND STRING OF PANELS OR ANY COMPONENT MOVED AN INCH! These ballast anchored systems like Trinity Health Arena are designed for 120+ MPH winds!
