🎄✨ Happy Holidays, everyone! ✨🎄

This month was full of joy and giving. We had an amazing time hosting our company winter party and were honored to once again sponsor a room for the Foster + Heart Christmas Party.

We are incredibly grateful for our employee-owners and their generosity. A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated and helped make the holidays brighter for so many foster kids. Your kindness and compassion truly make a difference, and we’re proud to work alongside such an incredible team.

We are excited to be partnering with Foster + Heart again this year, to make another Christmas truly special for the teens in foster care!
For active employees, every $10 donation (cash or item value) will get you 1 raffle ticket entry to win one of the amazing prizes at our company winter party!
For anyone else that would like to contribute, please do so by either bringing your donation into the Das-Co main office, or there is a giving tree inside the Meridian Maurices store that is set up for donations as well!

We wanted to give a HUGE thank you to all the employee owners that volunteered at the Big Dig Event which helps support local families fighting childhood cancer. These amazing individuals not only did the set up and tear down of the Das-Co & Bighorn booth, but they also had so many fun and exciting interactions throughout the day with the families that attended. There were over 700 attendees at the event! Our employee owners did a phenomenal job in representing one of our core values in building our community, and we are so grateful to have them as a part of our team! 🎗

This month’s employee spotlight goes to Jose Conchas!!
Jose has been an outstanding employee for Das-Co in the last 5 years! He started out as Joint Trench laborer and has now worked his way up to being a Foreman. When asked how Das-Co has helped his career development, he said, “Das-co has helped me become a leader and helped me expand my knowledge in this career path”.
A few things to know about Jose… He is the happiest when he is spending time with his family. One of his top three life highlights was when his son was born. He likes to fish, grill with his family, and mow his lawn.
A piece of advice that he would give to other prospective Das-Co candidates is to, “show up with a positive attitude, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and be a team player”.
Das-Co is thankful to have a foreman like you Jose!

5 years ago today was Lucio Rodriguez’s 1st day as a Traffic Controller for Bighorn Traffic Services. Today, he is a Foreman in the Joint Trench department for Das-Co of Idaho!
When asked what led him into this field of work, Lucio stated that when he saw all the equipment Das-Co uses, he wanted to learn how to run them himself. He loves the energy that people bring to work and likes to work on jobs out of town to see new places.
From day one, Lucio has shown us how much of a go-getter and a leader he is. His favorite company value is “Elevate Team”. If he is having a bad day, he starts making jokes with his co-workers to brighten everyone’s mood.
One of his favorite memories was when he worked on a job in McCall during the winter. They had to pump ground water out of a trench and forgot to close a valve. They all ended up getting soaked and even though they were freezing, they couldn’t help but laugh.
Lucio, your development within the company in the last 5 years has been outstanding! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!
