We're pleased to welcome Crystal Byington to the FAMCO team!

Since joining FAMCO at the end of August, Crystal says one thing has stood out from the beginning: the culture.

“I’ve heard companies say, ‘We are like a family here,’ but after getting comfortable in my position at FAMCO, I found that it really is like a family.”

For Crystal, that culture was evident before she even joined the team. During her interview, she was open about the importance of balancing work with being present for her children and her activities. Rather than seeing that as a challenge, the FAMCO team encouraged her to continue putting her family first.

Crystal also appreciated the trust and support she has received from leadership, giving her the opportunity to bring new ideas to the table and help build processes that support the team. As she continues in her role, Crystal is focused on building relationships across FAMCO and making HR an approachable resource employees can trust.

We're excited to have Crystal on the FAMCO team and look forward to the impact she'll make on our people and culture!

Meet Mike Dunbar, FAMCO’s new Vice President of Sales!

Mike brings more than 20 years of sales leadership experience and over 30 years in the tile and stone industry. During that time, he helped develop a contractor pull-through strategy from the ground up that became a major driver of long-term growth.

At FAMCO, Mike is focused on building a similar strategy that creates demand while strengthening our partnerships with contractors and distributors. He is also developing the processes behind how we go to market, communicate with customers, and measure success. His immediate priority is growing and training the sales team while continuing to learn more about FAMCO’s markets and customers.

Since joining FAMCO, Mike has been especially impressed by the collaboration between departments and the company-wide commitment to serving customers. From the sales team to the manufacturing floor, he sees employees taking pride in their work and keeping the customer at the center of every decision.
