Dont Forget about accents when designing A peaceful space. Many mistakes are made with accents, the most popular mistake is very dark color that usually consumes the space instead of adds to it. I like to add personal touches such as one off finishes usually called faux finishes but we don’t call it Faux because it is not fake for anything these are 1off creations not to replicate, but to accentuate!!!! Pictured, we have two examples: one of a venetian plaster with a subtle push back using shimmer of Mica powder and the second finish I brought colors from the wood floor Incorporated in a popular linear technique called a basket weeve. Call David at Custom Painting Concepts when you want a one off personal finishing touch that you can be guaranteed you will not find anywhere else. Trust me when i say , get ready for your guests to give you “Ooooo”s and ahhhs”, and “ what is that”?s!!! Got 2 dozen complements on these two alone during showings over the weekend!! Andmosteillnotsee the subtle tie ins that were used such as the mica powder drift over sconces in bedroom or the strike over the electrical plate on the wet bar.....thats a custom finish!!
